Last night I spilled water on my Dell inspiron desktop. I think It mostly got on my graphics card. It shut down immediately and i did what i could to soak it up with paper towels and blow it away with canned air. Today it starts but I get no display and five shortbeeps. I've tried replacing the the lithium battery because that seems to be a related issue with these types of beeps but i had no luck. I think ilmy stupidity finally did it in but I appreciate any help, thanks.

Also sorry if this wasnt posted underthe correct topic.

It's got 4th gen Intel I series, so it should have an onboard video card, take out your video card, and plug into the onboard, see if that makes a difference.

without knowing the exact model you have, that could just be a cmos battery, but in your case, if it doesn't post then it's due to the spill
