I spilled it around the edge and after a few minutes, the screen stopped working and I turned it off and on immediately, nothing helped.
I tried to drain it out, after a short break, my computer screen started working again, I was in a large relief.
I opened my computer the next day, and after 3 - 5 minutes of using it, it started flickering with black and lines all over it. I didn’t spill a lot, but I spilled enough to cover a quarter of the keyboard. The keyboard is alright but the screen isn’t. The laptop does turn on and off, and it functions normally except for the display. The incident happened yesterday. What may be the solution to my problem?

Solution
When liquid is dropped on most laptops, it will fall right down onto the motherboard, with electrical currents everywhere.
Everything on your laptop is connected to the motherboard, power, battery, display, keyboard, USB, audio, CPU, etc.
There could be water inside where the display connects to the motherboard.
You should have turned off the laptop (or any device) and allow it to dry for a least three days on a warm dry place....maybe placing it side ways so the liquid could exit.
You could still allow it to dry and it might work just fine.
