I spilt milk on my keyboard and now when I use certain keys it's types random things such as dkcmcjsnsk or dkcmcxndns please help!

Solution

I have spilt stuff on my keyboard numerous times (an entire glass of Mountain Dew, a glass of wine, a cup of hot tea and a glass of water) and have NEVER permanently "shorted" the keyboard (the voltages and currents involved are likely far too low). Yes, it failed almost immediately, usually by not working at all, or doing as the OP describes (making random characters etc).
You just have to take it apart, soak away all the excess moisture with a tissue, wipe it down with a damp cloth, and then dry it with a hair dryer. To do this properly you usually have to remove most or ALL of the keys (make sure you take a photo before hand, because it can...
as the keyboard may have been shorted out or the milk is gumming up the keyboard. look online on how to clean a keyboard if you spill soda into it. there may be on or two tricks online to wash and dry a damaged keyboard out to that it may work again for a bit. if not as others have posted time for a new unit.

2 options:

1. Take it apart. Soak it in water for a couple of days. After, rinse it completely. Let it dry for 3 days
or
2. Buy a new keyboard.

Membrane keyboards are a lot easier to clean than mechanical, but both can be fixed.

Solution

Easy to say, harder to do. Dorito and Dew fuelled gaming binges are inevitably going to lead to spillage sooner or later :bounce: .

So this is why you have 2 identicals.

1 in the wash-rinse-repeat stage.
Recycle as needed.
