THG did that damn Integrated Graphics article, catering to some of our demands.

Yup, if anyone ever comes in here asking us if Extreme Slow Graphics 2 is good, we got a reason to execute them!

Anyone notice though how the 9800PRO seemed not to perform at its best in some tests?
Also notice how they omitted full DX9 graphics for Aquanox 2's benchmark just to support the other crap cards. Means in some way if there were max graphics, the 9800PRO woul really be extremely lethal I assume.

Overall interesting article that has no other value really, than to show you: IGPs are CRAP, period.

Thanks to Lars for this review.

It would be good to see nForce(1) IGP and Intel Extreme Graphics (1) in this aricle, but anyway it's a good article.

I remember seeing in a DELL magazine that they were saying that "Intel Extreme Graphics" was rated as "good" for "hi-end gaming" (1/2 circle filled). They rated the GeForce4 MX as as "better" (3/4 circle filled) for "hi-end gaming". The only card that they accurately rated was the 9800 Pro. They said it was "best" for "hi-end gaming".

To say the least, the aricle in the DELL magazine had me SO PO'd at how they are deceiving their customers. There's now way in heck that the Intel Extreme Graphics 2" can even be rated at the "barely acceptable for low-end gaming" level. Such deceit & LIES!!!!!!!!

Q3 Team Arena benchmark proves that how lame Intel "Extremely Slow Graphics" 2 is.

The performance of Intel's i865G Extreme Graphics was nowhere near convincing in a gaming environment, making us wonder what exactly the self-serving "extreme" adjective described. Extremely slow, maybe?
That's my THGC!
