LMAO at permanent internet requirement to play the game. Yeah this won't be solved within an hour of release. LMAO at these companies that stay failing with DRM.

look at SAM.IT'S the version of that was scrapped,he doesn't look that at all now.
DRM is killing gaming.he joy of owning what you payed for is being flushed down the toilet.

better textures, higher resolution, better framerate. i could probably give a dozen more reasons if you'd like?

It must have sucked to be you in the P4 days. Also that's original athlon it's talking about. (though I dont know how fast a athlon II would have to be to match the same...)

"Note: A permanent high speed internet connection and creation of a Ubisoft account are required to play this video game at all times and to unlock exclusive content. Such content may only be unlocked one single time with a unique key. You must be at least 13 to create a Ubisoft account."

oh damn, I got the quad core and the crossfired 5970s.. but I forgot to move to south Korea and apply for an enterprise grade internet connection... damn, guess I can't play it 🙁

don't laugh too hard, remember where they came from:

"Processor 3.4Ghz intel Pentium 4 or 2.2Ghz AMD Athlon64"
clock speed is largely irrelevant anyway, as a rule of thumb, a lower clock speed with the same performance == higher efficiency/lower heat ect, but that's not fact, and it CERTAINLY doesn't mean better value.

IIRC the amd thunderbird or something ran at 1Ghz, slower than the intel equivalent at the time, but still ran a lot hotter.

Piracy is killing gaming, there was no DRM issues, before piracy became the monolithic problem it's become the last 10 years.

I'm still gonna buy this game AND use the crack. Assassin's Creed DRM is a real pain in the ass and I'm won't have the same experience with Conviction.

i dont wanna make you look bad or anything, but hackers still haven't gotten a proper working crack for silent hunter 5 or assassin's creed 2... ubisoft is still winning this DRM bit = /

if by 'winning' you mean alienating customers, pushing away fans and throwing sales down the toilet then yes. they are winning.

ive been looking forward to this game a long time, so i cant miss it. out of principal i wish i could refuse to buy the game, but i can't do it on this occasion.

[citation][nom]lauxenburg[/nom]I saw the trailer for this like 5 years ago. Wtf, I thought it had been released. Ubisoft has been taking their time...[/citation]

Ha~ 5 years, i bet GT5 took more than that...

I think this is a new [citation][nom]miloo[/nom]Ha~ 5 years, i bet GT5 took more than that...[/citation]

This is a new game, I know the older game also had Sam Fisher as the convict or wanted, I dont think this will like up to metal gear legendary gaming status and seems like an outdated concept... without a solid storyline, this is just another game in a sea of hits and gold standard games...

I'll get it like I got all the other Splinter Cells, from the $9.99 bargain rack in couple of years. By then I can also build a brand new, low end PC that will run it just fine.
