I'm currently looking into putting my two screens (aforementioned 1920x1080 monitor and a 1280x1024) into an eyefinity setup, but I don't want to have the bezel covering everything. I figure if I split my 1080p monitor down the middle (and chop of a little from the bottom), then take 320 pixels from the width of my other screen, I can effectively have non-stretching 3-screen eyefinity at 2880x1024 without dropping another penny into my setup (considering I can't right now, as I'm unemployed and also a minor), though I have no idea how to do this. I've tried searching it up on google, but the closest thing I've found was a blog about cross-view 3d. And, I would've probably been able to learn from that blog how to do that which I desire, if there were any instructions on the website comprehensible to myself.

Also, I'd like to know, if I'm tricking windows into thinking that I have 2 960x1024 screens plugged into one port, should I be using DP, or is DVI (the only thing my screen supports) okay? I'm using a 5770, if that changes anything about that.

My only suggestion would be AMD's HydraVision, but honestly I haven't been able to get the program to work for more than one application per reboot. -- AKA I set up a 4 wide grid, attach my browser to the proper grid slot, then poof, none of the other grids are snap-to-able, none of the other applications can be connected to a grid slot. I spent a good three hours messing with it before finally giving up on that program. Then I got another software that was supposed to do the same thing (can't remember the name of it sorry) and same issue. I read on some forum it's Windows 7's fault cause they changed the desktop manager or display setting code or something like that.

Anyway, maybe it'd work with your system? http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/HYDRAVISION-ForRADEONandMobileATIProducts.aspx

I tried HydraVision, it isn't quite what I'm looking for; I'm not looking to implement a tiling system for programs, I'm looking to make my monitor, as far as my computer is concerned, actually two monitors, as to use my two monitors together in eyefinity without resolution reduction, horrible amounts of stretching, and the bezel obscuring the main focal point in games.

Yeah I know what you're wanting to do, I looked for the same thing when I had dual monitors; found nothing that worked consistently. HydraVision did allow me to set up a monitor+1/2 grid that I could snap my game window to (in windowed mode,) but the second I tried to open anything else like a browser and put in the remaining 1/2 monitor grid the entire HydraVision system would fail (though not crash.)

I will say that some games let you play them in windowed mode, then you can adjust the size of the game window to be at the monitor+1/2 at least. Was the only solution I found until I upgraded to three+ monitors to solve the "my character is in the bezel" problem.
