I have a HTPC that outputs to a 1080 screen. I want to split this 3 ways so I can have the display in two other rooms as well. The screens in the other rooms are smaller and only support 720.

How would I accomplish this without lowering the resolution of the main screen?

Thanks!

Two outputs on the video card. DVI and HDMI or DP i think. I have adapters tho so it is flexible.

The main TV monitor is a modern 32" smart TV, the smaller monitors are like 19" with VGA and/or DVI.

FYI both displays are already run to splitters, its just that the second one does not need to feed a HD tv so it runs fine with a cheap old VGA splitter. So I cannot utilize the second output to drive the low-res screens exclusively.

Originally I had them both split, and when I wanted to watch a movie in HD I would disconnect the lower-res monitors from the splitter and it would allow the main screen to be HD. I am trying to avoid having to do that.

I was hoping for a device that can convert a signal from HD to low-res, that I could install maybe between two splitters or something.
