hi, steam just announced that it would have all of EA's titles avaliable. so does this finally mean that i can get spore without all that crappy drm and securom?? or is it still on the steam versions?? i would expect that steam would regulate it, but i just dont trust EA anymore and i wouldnt put it past them. so if anyone knows please post. thanks

i know that far cry 2 on steam had securom but i was hopin spore wouldnt. that sucks. im thinking of just buying the game and than pirating it, cuz than i will have paid for it and i get to install a version of it without any of this drm crap.

but than again i am against pirating alot and i really dont want to contribute to the pirate problem...........so im at a tough decision here

if u have purchased the game and have a ligitimate code, then it doesnt mean that u r helpin the pirates by downloadin a pirated version or crack, u paid for the software

but also remember that most of the pirated software out there have not had the security removed, so u will still be installin the securerom onto ur system anyhows.

they only have workarounds to try and circumvent them to allow it to run, not cracks to remove the security.

so ignore what most people have to say, if u want to play the game, then play it.
