Question Sports Camera not recording onto formatted Micro SD Card.

Hey guys, I bought one of those generic chinese sports action cameras that records video on to a Micro SD. I have a Samsung 64GB Micro SD card and the camera doesn't seem to be saving the footage onto the card. I tried formatting it in the camera's settings and nothing changes, it says the formatting was sucessful but still refuses to save footage on there. I tried formatting the card on my computer and the issue stays. Is there something I'm doing wrong here? The SD card is brand new, could it be that 64GB is too big for the camera? Some of these devices only accept a 32GB storage device. My cheap dashcam is similar.

I experienced a similiar issue with my dash cam aswell, looks like I'm gonna have to get a 32gig one instead. Is there a way to make it so the camera recognizes it as a 32gb instead of a 64gb or is that not possible?
