So i have a secondary rig for when i'm not at college and i want to see if you can spot the bottleneck (I'm updaating it tomorrow to the fx-8350 w 8gb of ram and the rest is the same. just rebuilding with old parts)
so here we go...
Athlon II x4 630 2.8ghz
4, count them 4 whole gigabytes of ddr2 ram in dual channel
1 7200 rpm hdd
1 5200 rpm hdd
some hp motherboard from god knows where
a single amd radeon 7970, it has stability issues when i overclock now, (works fine stock, but artifacts if ocd, shame, the overclock was stable for a long while )
I did some benchmarks
Overwatch at medium settings
lower 40s with lots of stutters
Battlefield 4 lowest
lower 30s lots of stutters
Battlefield 1 lowest
lower 30s lots of stutters
So now lets answer the true question, can it run solitaire
NO, it will probably blue screen at the victory screen.
100% truth, no misleading whatsoever
so wheres the bottleneck? its obviously the 7970 i mean its only working like 30% its slacking off and I think i need to get one that does its job, i'm thinking the new titan might do its job, gosh video cards are lazy.
totally how this works right guys?
yes this was a joke post im sorry, but i wanted to share the really bad system i somehow threw together. My main rig is a i7 4790k with 16gb of hyperX fury ddr3. and a Zotac AMP! GTX 1080
and yes my cable management is immaculate. but lets see if we can figure out a way to fit my hyper 212 evo i have lying around into an hp pavilion case, something tells me cutting a hole in the side panel. idk sounds fun.
