I currently have a managed network switch that connects to one port on my Fibre Broadband Router/Hub

This switch has about 16 ports connected to it.
Does it make any difference to performance/reliability if i spread those connections out to the other 3 ports on the hub?

i.e. if i have 3 or 4 switches connected to each port, each switch had multiple connections, but there was less connected to one, if that makes sense.

Just curious....

If you are running as a layer 2 network then there is no benefit.
Do you have multiple subnets with a lot of traffic between them?
