Hello i was wondring if someone could help me, im doing spreadsheets as an
exam and was wondering if someone could tell me when i go on pc at college it
works out my sum, but when im at home my pc does not, just leaves the total i
have written in the box. I would be grateful thanks xxx

Do both your college pc & your home pc use Excel ?
iirc, If using Excel, click on the cell where you want the sum placed. Then on the tool bars, press the sigma symbol (the fancy E), then use shift key + arrow keys to select the cells to be added. Whichever program you're using, get help by pressing F1 function key. Search on Sum.
