For the first quarter, the wireless business of Sprint(NYSE:FON - news),
which is soon to be recombined with its parent company, reported a net
loss of $86 million, or 9 cents a share.

"The wireless segment lost 8 cents a share on an adjusted basis, half the
year-ago loss of 16 cents. "

Hmm... $86 million loss, but also early retirement of over $1.1
*billion* in debt (actually, that's Sprint-wide, not just PCS).
