Squeaky noise in new gaming mouse.

Guys,
Yesterday i received a mionix castor gaming mouse, it was fine until today i noticed annoying squeaky noise whenevever i scroll down, there is no issue other than that with this mouse, i can return it , but should i?
What you could have done in this situation?

If it seems defective then return it, grab another and if it happens again return it and look for something different.

It works normally, just an annoying sound. I've found a video showing similer issue, also the comments say it's a major issue with castor, idk

Well if the noise is distracting enough for you not to enjoy gaming/computer then it doesn't seem worth it to keep.
