Okay, i am making a server minecraft server out of old pc parts which work:
Cpu: one of those amd atherlon tri cores
Ram: 4gb ddr3 bought cheaply from ebay (hoping to upgrade to 8)
Mobo: msi gaming 970
Gpu: nvidia gt6600
Hdd: segate baracuda 250gb
Cooler: 212 evo
Psu: random 600w one
Internet: 70mbps down 30mbps up with 22ms ping

I am going to add a few fans inside to this rig and overclock anything that i can to push this system to its max, there should only be a max of 6 players on the server and because it is running mineos it should be good enough but i want more out of this and because the parts are cheap i dont mind if they break as they are very easy to replace

Solution
I'll suggest being careful with the "random 600W" PSU. While you may not worry too much about individual parts (which are easy to replace) it won't help at all if the PSU takes the whole system out with it. Cheap PSU's are capable of destroying everything they're connected to and rarely can provide the wattage they claim.
