Of three automatic date stamps for system restore points, and three manually
created system points over the last five days, only one system restore point
will "restore". And it is the fourth point manually created of the total of
six restore points. All other restore points result in the common message
"...could not be restored...." Ideas as to why?

I have a similar problem as RLR only i have 9 automatic restore points... i
run SR then once finished it gives me a message that says system is unchanged
and SR cannot restore to that point.

This means that one or more restore points are corrupted. This is usually
(but not always) due to a virus infection.

Individual restore points cannot be erased. You'll have to erase them all.
Do this by turning off system restore for all drives, reboot, and then turn
system restore on again.
