I have an issue which i thought was my internet being faulty or just my ethernet cable being faulty but after looking into it further it may not be my internet atall, i have 2 ssds in my pc one is much older but is a sata ssd whilst the other newer one is a nvme, basically whenever i install a game on my pc or any large files my ssd will start off at a below 50% usage and my download speed will be at its normal 115MB/s however like 5 mins into the download the download speed will drop to below 50MB/s and right as that happens my sata ssd increases to 100% usage i also have windows installed on that ssd so everything on my pc begins to slow down as a result, i have no clue whats wrong with it if you know a fix please let me know.
UPDATE: I went to update both firmwares and both were up to date still not sure whats causing the problem.

Make and model of both SSD's on your build as well as the free space on both SSD's in question. Now would also be a good idea to see if the SSD's are pending any firmware updates. Please include the make and model of your motherboard as well as the BIOS version for said motherboard.

By download, what app are you using to download said...file?

Most likely scenario when ssds and nvmes slow down is overheating of their controller chip. How are these drives mounted and is there a heatsink for the nvme? How is the ventilation in your case where these drives are mounted; how many fans are there and how is their speed controlled. As a diagnostic experiment you could manually set all of your case fans to 100 percent maximum and see if the situation improves. That might indicate insufficient airflow around your drives causing them to overheat.

ive never had any over heating problems with anything so dont think its due to that i always keep my fan speeds high to make sure of this.

NVME: Western Digital Blue 2tb - 1.1tb free storage
Sata: Patriot Burst 960gb - 250GB free storage also holds my windows install
motherboard: asus tuf x570 plus, im unsure of what bios version im on but i did update it maybe around 5 months ago.
Well its mainly games but does happen when i download things on browsers aswell, im using steam, battlenet and epic games to install games and has happened with all 3.
nvm just found out it does happen on both ssds however the nvme seems to handle it slightly better, ive never updated either of them and the nvme is fairly new had it for around half a year and the patriot burst ive had for 3-4 years, ive never updated their firmware's
