I try to build new system with SSD+1Twd-black, I will use Intel Smart Respond Technology.

I has some question If some one already do so Please give me some advice.

current my old system OS has been install into intel ssd 160G at AHCI mode; my 1T WD-black is data drive ( no raid)

I have a lot of data I try to void reformat or reinstall

I will try to do this see it work.

first I try to sysprep my OS and I will use true Image to make Image

on new system I will use Intel smart respond technology to raid SSD + 1T-WD, than I will use true Image to re-image to new system.
New system will boot to repair firt system boot, than I will create new account, after completed install driver and reboot my system will has 2 account 1 for old one and one for new one, I will deleted the new account and reboot system, it will boot to my old account.

Does any one try to do this way please give me some advice.

Thanks

The purpose of Intel SRT is to give "SSD-like" performance to a HDD with an O/S installed on it by using a small SSD (64GB or less) as a cache drive.

You have a fairly big SSD (160GB) so you should not use Intel SRT and just use your SSD as your O/S drive and use your 1TB HDD as your data/storage drive.

As Dereck47 said. That software only takes your most used data on the HDD and clones it to the SSD(64 gigs max).

This was your most used programs(actual blocks of the disc, not files them selves) "should" run with SSD like speeds. Anything that is not in the cache will run at HDD speeds.

If you already have Windows on a SSD. You are already good to go.

I have used it and it works very well to be honest, but is NO substitute for a actual SSD for Windows and programs. Still a good compromise for those who NEED space and want some extra speed(helps with loading windows and your most used programs).

It may be worth moving your desktop and whatnot to the HDD if you fill the desktop with junk.

Ok I will use the same way I have on my old system

SSD boot OS
HHD is data

Only one thing I worry about to move it from old system to new system, I read some one has been doing that it work ( make image, than sysprep move hard drive from old system to new system, boot it up create new account login new account install all the driver for mother board, reboot system deleted new account, reboot now it back online like normal.
