Question SSD and HDD both on C:...

So recently I received "the blue screen of death", so I reset my computer. When I reinstalled windows 10 it combined my SSD and HDD onto one drive. how can I fix this?

so you have a 120/8 ssd?
the c drive is only on the hdd.

Did yo do a upgrade?

I did from windows 8 to 10 then a couple months later I got the blue screen. I didn't know what to do so I reset it using a usb tool with windows 10 on it. I am not the best with computer mostly just watch youtube videos to fix issues.

windows is on the hdd
the ssd is not use. if you want windows on ssd.
unplug the hdd.
[edit] try doing the reset with the hdd unplug


and do a fresh install

So do I need to reset the hdd right now then unplug it then install windows with the hdd unplugged then after its installed plug in the HDD and turn computer back on?

unplug the hdd. try the reset.
if that doesn't work. do a fresh os install.

once os is on the sdd
plug the hdd back. go into bios and make sure it booting from ssd.
then delete everything on hdd or just format it.

Two physical drives combined as one logical, that is not possible with Windows unless u RAID-0 it. But oh well, it works now, as long as is fixed.
