hi, so my OS is on my SSD (C:) and all my files are on that, the problem is i have a 3 TB hard rive that i want that on, i only want to use the SSD as a boot drive for windows. thanks

I don't think there's a way to automatically do that. You'll have to remember to do a custom install every time you install something.

if you installed any programs or games already, then you will have to uninstall them and then reinstall them onto the other drive by doing a custom or advanced installation when the program tries to install.

Also, when you go to your folder for user name, open it. there you will see My Documents and such. Right click on it and just change the drive letter from C:\users\username to F:\users\username or whatever your drive is. You only have to replace the C and nothing else.....so put the cursor in the C so and highlight it so it types over the C
 
What I7 baby said and also, you might want to create folders on the 3TB drive to keep things tidy. For example; you can create a programs folder for all your programs and create a new folder structure for documents, pictures, videos, music, etc.
