SSD and HDD Problems

Im having issues while playing games on my new SSD. While playing games i wont be able to open anything else and when i go to disk usage on the task manager, it says my HDD is at 100% usage even though the game is running from my SSD. What is the problem?

I'd go into task manager and sort the apps by disk usage and try to see if I could find out if there was an app using the drive.

slicerm1, you may also run the manufactures testing SW on the drive to make sure it is running fine.

You didn't list your system's hardware - - - problem could simply be there are very few resources left for multitasking when you're running some of your games.

After a bit of troubleshooting i found out the problem was that either the SATA or power cable was loose after I moved my pc to higher ground (because of the recent hurricane and flooding). I assume that is how the cable got loose and was causing issues. But after re plugging them in, I have been having 0 issues. Thanks for all of the replies and suggestions.
