SSD and HDD problems

So I bought a 500gb crucial ssd and before that I used a 1tb western digital hard drive alone for about a year after I installed the ssd my PC wouldn't recognize my hard drive no matter what data cable spot or cable nothing would make it show up is there something in the bios I need to change?

What motherboard, and which specific Crucial SSD?

I've got a crucial mx500 and a gigabyte h110-m ultra durable the ssd works perfect but my hdd was what I used now I need all those files and storage
