SSD and HDD

I just got a new SSD, installed the OS on the SSD, formatted the HDD to start with a clean slate. All i want on the SSD is the OS and everything else on the HDD. Even when I download something and tell it to save to the HDD some of it still saves to the SSD. Is there a way to set it up so that i boot off the SDD and do everything else on the HDD?

For everything you download, the browser asks you where to put it...

For everything you install, the install wizard asks you where to put it...

I don't see where your problem is....

If your downloading via Firefox or internet explorer, you can set the download location to your HDD.

The link above goes through the discussion of how to set this up. It is a little bit of a challenge because Windows defaults everything to the "C:" drive which is the SSD where Windows is installed.

Applications - also on the SSD. Whatever fits, which is most except for large games.
