SSD and Old i3

I'm thinking about replacing my laptop's HDD with and SSD. This is a pretty basic question, but I wanted your opinion. My laptop has an i3-2350M processor, is that processor so old/bad that my PC wouldn't benefit from an SSD upgrade? I'm considering a 120 GB Kingston UV400.

No, it's nowhere near "bad" for most uses. It's a little older, but still totally viable.
An SSD upgrade would be a nice boost.

As an FYI, with a laptop you likely only have the one HDD/SSD bay, so you might want to look at a slightly larger SSD (240GB) to give yourself some decent storage.

The UV400 isn't the best SSD available, but it'll still be a huge improvement over a traditional HDD - especially if you happen to have a 5400rpm drive.

You'll be fine. Even core 2 duos and 2010 pentiums benefit from SSDs.

That SSD will significantly decrease loading times and boot times, it should make your PC a whole lot snappier (ok maybe not a ton, but still more than noticeable).
