Honorable
ok i have Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H and two sata 3 ports and 4 sata 2 ports.
I bought an SSD disk KINGSTON 240GB A400 SATA 3 2.5" that supports sata 3 and I changed to bios ide to achi but I still have a speed of 3mb/s, how to achieve max speed 6mb/s?

what i can do?

1| Are you on the latest (non-BETA) BIOS for your motherboard, with respect to your board's PCB revision number?
2| Did you reinstall your OS after installing your SSD?
3| The SSD should be connected to your first SATA3 port which should be denoted as SATA3_0

You wanna get 6 Gbit/s, 600 MB/s, (Serial ATA-600, SATA Revision 3.0)
The SSD can provide at max. 500MB/s read , 350MB/s write

Test the speed with AS SSD, upload a screenshot of it to a free image hoster and post the link

check the SSD with the Kingston tool utility

install the latest SATA drivers for you chipset (Intel inf driver for Z77 chipset)

Which Windows version are you using?

i use win 10 64 bit
