Which option ist the best for a SSD as boot and storage drive?
How does the different options affect performance and lifetime?

The costs is not important.

• 970 Evo Plus 1 TB (boot and drive)
• 970 Evo plus 240GB (boot ) + 970 Evo plus 1 TB (storage)
• 970 Evo plus 500GB (boot ) + 970 Evo plus 1 TB (storage)

- Corsair Mp510 240GB (boot) + 970 Evo plus 1 TB (storage)

The first or third option is your best. The third option gives you the most SSD space For storage

I would only buy high-quality drives like the Samsung’s anyway No need for a crappy drive in the system
