Good job for the resource monitor - right-click on the taskbar, select "task manager", hit the "performance" tab, select "open resource monitor"
when that is open, select the "disk" tab and under the first section "processes with disk activity" sort by "total b/sec" and see what's eating the i/o bandwidth...
