Hey guys, I have a lite on 120 gb SSD. Like the 'genius' I am, I completely forgot that I don't have a bay in my pc to dock it safely; so I instead got some industrial grade double-sided tape and stuck it to the bottom of my case. Now the question, is this really safe in terms of temperatures, stability, and so on?
Note- its held pretty solidly with the tape.

I used double sided velcro

So i can take it out if needed without worrying about spoiling adhesive with double sided tape. No moving parts in SSDs is the best part, can put anywhere.

Unless you already have all 3.5" bays in use.. You could also buy the appropriate 3.5" mounting brackets.

2.5" HDD/SSD Mounting Kit For 3.5" Drive Bay or Enclosure

And if a 3.5" bay is not available, maybe a optical bay is.

Thanks guys🙂 I'm on a very very tight budget, so the tape will have to do for now. When I get some cash, I'll definitely consider getting those bays installed.thanks again for all your help🙂
