SSD - Bios takes too long to load

So, I am using AHCI mode to boot, but for some reason it takes too long. To be more specific, it takes about 30 seconds to get past the "black screen" stuff. As soon as I see the windows 7 logo it only takes 5 seconds for windows to be usable. Therefore, I am pretty sure this doesn't have to do with any programs loading at startup etc.(might have to do with some other parts like my ram or motherboard?). Windows 7 is installed on a Samsung 840 EVO 250GB and I also use a secondary HDD with no OS on it.

If anybody knows what might be wrong it would be of much help!

The motherboard contains your BIOS so it's really the only possible cause. What motherboard do you have?

is ssd set as first boot option?

-I had guessed it might be it, since it's kinda old. The model is Gigabyte H67MA-B3
-Yes the SSD is the first boot option.

OK, try boot with ssd only connected.

unpugged the HDD - same output.
