Question SSD Boot Drive Black Screen Error

I bought a new Hp S700 SSD 250GB, and I set the ssd to boot option 1. As I saved the settings in bios and tried to boot up, I got a black screen saying "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" so im stuck here and don't know what to do. I followed a video from NCIX with linus tech tips as the host, but the video didn't say anything about errors that could occur.

Crap. Would I have to install windows again? or could I somehow copy windows 10 from my hdd to my ssd without filling up my 250gb.

Some SSD manufacturers have cloning software, so you could check that out. Be aware for cloning purposes, the cloned drive needs to be larger than the original drive.

But, yes, to boot from the SSD you'd need the OS on it.

Macrium Reflect Free should work as long as the space used on the HDD is smaller then the size of the SSD.
