I want a small ssd for boot like 40gbs or w/e which is the best one...

but i also want ssds raid? for data cause in bf4 it takes me like 10mins to load a map or so. and i'm being generous when im saying 10mins.

i think right now i have a 7200rpm 500gb and a 5400rpm 250gb.

Solution

250GB Samsung SSD - $87
This will be the OS and all/most of your applications. Other stuff can live on other drives.

(oh, and a $1TB can be had for under $250. Not $1,000)

First things first I just want a ssd for fast bootup and fast windows stuff

And I want something faster than my hdd right now. But I'm not looking to spend $999 on a 1tb ssd.

I5 6600k
Gtx 970
8gb ddr4 2400 (prob gonna add 8 more gb soon)I
Asrock fatality k6 z170

Ps I don't know how to use this site so idk if I am replying or answered

I don't think any SSD less than 60GB is made any more but even that may prove too small. Windows itself needs 10 - 20 GB free to work properly.
A hybrid drive has higher performance than plain HDD coupled with larger size.

It does matter, to boot from a disk you need OS on it and for instance W10 needs all together more than 40 GB just to run properly, never mind updates, backup, system reserved and/or UEFI partition etc.
Out of a nominally 40GB disk you are down to 36 GB by the time it's just formatted.
