As the title suggests, I'm looking to upgrade my main drive to an SSD from the WD Blue HDD that I have. Not sure between NVME and SSD for my purposes though which are just browsing the interent, and playing video games. I see the newest MX 500 is really good as well as the new Samsung 970. I'm looking to get a 500gb model, though I dont know if the ~$80-$100 price difference of the 970 is worth it for my uses. Suggestions please? System as follows:

Ryzen 5 1400 @3.8
Radeon Rx570
ASrock B350 pro4
8GB DDR4 2666

Thanks!

Is my understanding correct that the NVME drives are mainly beneficial if you are working on stuff that is constantly hitting the disks? Meaning for "normal" use, you wont notice much of a difference
