HI ,
I was wondering if it is possible to setup ssd cache for a amd mb?
my specs :
OS : WIN 7 X64 (Can be upgraded to win 8.1 if required )
MB : ASUS M5A97PRO
CPU : AMD X4 980BE
RAM : 4X 2GB
PSU : 800W

Yes but nothing that works like intels.
Theres caching solutions like OCZ Synapse, Crucial Adrenaline, Sandisk Readycache that include an SSD. I'm not sure whats still on the market.

There's software to use your existing ssd, VeloSSD, Dataplex, and Fancycache come to mind. Velo is free I beleive.

tanks for the intel ...
none of those apps are free . i have downloaded Fancycache witch now is called PrimoCache but since i still don't have a ssd can't test anything .
how about windows's Ready Boost?
I am going to buy a ssd today and start trying out the apps to see witch one works for me .hopfuly windows ready boost will work and i won't have to pay for any extra app :pt1cable:

Ok for every one out there that wondering the same thing ... STOP
I have SSD caching in my laptop and it makes the laptop run even slower and it eats up the RAM too , i disabled it and now my laptop is running faster 😀, same thing happened in my pc , the caching program was using lots of memory without getting much of performance boost ...

the best option is to use the SSD for OS and apps witch is what i am doing and windows boots up in less than 10 seconds 😀
