SSD Card Is Main Storage Holder And Is Out Of Space

Hi, I have a 120GB SSD card which is the main hard drive, it has windows and the computer software on it.... But everything I download gets stored to the SSD (C. I also have a 2TB Hard Drive(D which I can't set as my main drive. I have tried to change the Drive letters but that doesn't seem to work. How could I set the 2TB Hard Drive as the main drive so everything downloads to it. I'm not really sure on what to do.

When you download or install things during that process you select where it goes. You need to select the other drive. DO NOT change the drive letters in your system settings. Also what are you using when downloading?

You can change the default download location in your browser. Google "Change Default Download Location" for your specific browser for details on making the change.

Win7 and Win8.1 lets you move the entire "Downloads" folder to another drive, which affects EVERY program that downloads to it (rather than having to manually do it in IE, Chrome, FF, blah, blah). it's 100% easy and 100% transparent to EVERY program you use now and will use in the future.

right-click on the Downloads folder, select Properties, go to the Location tab, and click Move. it'll ask you if you want to move it, so you say yes.

I have changed the download location. Thanks I have figured out what to do now.
