Hey guys!
I want to add an SSD to my recently purchased Asus Vivobook S510UN-BQ052T. I want to know whether I can install a PCIe M.2 SSD on this laptop. I don't want to open the lid because I'm a total tech noob and I don't want to void my warranty. My service centre says that I can buy an SSD and bring it to them for installation. But they won't help me with compatibility. My research tells me that PCIe M.2 SSDs are the fastest but I'll need the relevant port for it. Can someone please tell me whether I have the required port? Any help would be immensely appreciated.

You can drop in an NVMe M.2 SSD in the laptop. Looks like it can accept a 2280 M.2 SSD.

From the way your retailer sounds, they might disclaim warranty in the future after seeing the sticker was tampered with. Where are you located?
