SSD Compatibility Question

Hey guys,

I bought a ASUS ROG B350-F GAMING AM4 motherboard and am looking for a good well priced SSD. I looked on the asus website at the compatible storage devicesand the SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 250GB is not there. Do you guys really think its not compatibly and/or I will have issues with it?

Yes, it will work 100%.

Most likely reason "it's not there" is that the list was compiled before that SSD model was launched. There are a good many SSDs that aren't in that list for the same reason, or simply because Asus can't possibly test all of them in every configuration - - doesn't mean they won't work.

They just haven't haven't updated the list with newer SSD models recently, the list will never truly be "up to date" since new drives are coming on to the market faster than Asus can keep up.
