ssd compatible with acer aspire MCP73T-AD

I'm having a difficult time finding concrete information about Solid state drives that would be compatible with my MCP73T-AD mother board in my acer aspire x1700 64bit. the HHD is old and in dire need of replacement but I don't see the need to replace the entire computer when I can get what I need from a new ssd. Any info on how to guarantee compatibility?

Pretty much all of them will work as long as you buy a SATA and not M.2
