Good day!

Laptop model: Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 15ACH6

This might sound incredibly dumb to you but I just wanna make sure if I can upgrade my SSD with an addition of another NVME M.2 2280. (Based on the slot, I can) but kinda confused because of Lenovo's manual. Based on my understanding of the manual I can only upgrade with another 2242 since 2280 is occupied.

This is what the actual slot looks like.

This is my first post. I'm sorry if I don't know how to post pics properly.

Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

If your primary(which will most certainly be the PCIe 3.0 x4)M.2 slots is populated then that leaves you with the PCIe 3.0 x2 slot which is a slower slot but is backwards compatible with a PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD. You will need a 2280 spec SSD, mind you an M.2 screw to tether/secure the SSD to the chassis like the one on the left, in your second picture.

Where are you located, what is your preferred site for purchase and what sort or a budget have you allocated for an SSD purchase?

Thanks for your help! I live in the PH and planning to buy via online shops.
