Current: 180GB SSD+1TB Drive on SATAIII ports,

Future: Should I do both 256GB Corsair force on the SATAIII ports, and the old drives on SATAII, or the 256GB SSDs in RAID0 on the SATAII, and keep the old drives on SATAIII.

EDIT: Oh, and is purchasing refurb SSDs a good idea?

For future you maybe need the one bigger good performance SSD, raid the SSD you only can get the high benchmark scores, it is awesome, but read the review you will know they are almost same (raid0 two small SSD compare one bigger single SSD) in the real world usage.

Because no way you know the previous owner how to use the SSD, I don't buy it.
