SSD constantly beeing written to

I've just started monitoring my SSD and noticed every few seconds its being written to, their very small writes, 32-128kb but its every second or two. Is this bad? any ideas what it could be? I also notice every once in a while my HD light on my case will just be going nuts even when the computer is just sitting there doing nothing. I dont have any programs running, I've followed a few videos on how to optimize an SSD for windows8.1 and disabled a few things, I just dont see why its doing this.

Mine do that, it's just the constant data rebalancing SSD do as far as I know causing HDD LED line to be active a lot, anyway they've been doing it for years with no problem.
