Hello,I have an Acer predator helios 500 sadly the SSD would often get hot since iam living in really hot weather, the SSD has a copper plate on top of it to help cooling it but I will buy a heatsink to help making it cooler . The question is would I put the heatsink on the copper plate or would I remove the copper plate and put the heatsink on the ssd directly?

I would download and run HWInfo.

This will give you the temperature of the SSD.

Then I would look at the SSD specifications and see if the temp is OK.

It might be OK.....in which case you don't need to do anything.
First thanks for answering, iam already using hwinfo and it shows in clear red that the temps go up till lower 60s.
