i have an m5a990fx pro2.0 motherboard. windows 10 technical preview 9926. when i run crystal disk mark on my mx100 512gb ssd im not getting near advertised speeds. what could be wrong? all drivers up to date. https://imageshack.com/i/pdlk2p7Bp
Run Crucial Storage Executive, and see if there are any issues.
I get about the same speeds from my MX100, but my MB is limited by SATA 2. I checked, and your MB has SATA 3 so this should not be an issue. Could also try a different SATA cable.

hey thanks for the suggestion. My case is a thermaltake overseer rx-i and i had my ssd in the top docking bay connected to a sata3 connector on my m5a99fx pro r2. In the docking bay the ssd was 200 mb/s slower than if it was connected in a hard drive bay inside. i didnt think that the docking bay would have any impact on performance but it did.
