Tonight, I bought a Wifi card because my mobo's onboard wifi is apparently not great at picking up signals. I got a TP-LINK Archer T6E version 1.1, this is a PCI Express Wifi Dual Band Adapter, for those unfamiliar. I'm running Windows 10.
My motherboard is a Gigabyte Aorus Z370 Gaming 5.
I have two hard drives -
My C:\ drive, the boot disk, is a Samsung 960 m.2 pro 512gb- http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/ssd960/
My D:\ drive is a Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1tb.

The problem is that when I connect the Archer T6E to my motherboard, my D: disk disappears. I cannot see it in the system BIOS, and I cannot see it in Windows.
Since I boot from C:, I've been able to verify that the Wireless Adapter seems to function fine. It's just that most of my storage is on the D:\ so this won't work. I need to be able to use my computer, with the PCI WiFi card, and be able to access both drives.
Any ideas greatly appreciated. Have a trouble ticket opened with TP-LINK but not holding my breath.
