SSD disappears/reapppears randomly

Over a month ago, I was playing a game and my SSD, which was where the game was stored, stopped working. After I restarted my computer, it wasn't in the list of my devices. I tried to check the device manager for it, but it's not there and can't be installed. I checked my BIOS and it wasn't in there.

I figured it died, but it's randomly reappeared a few times in my devices and then disappears.


Does anyone know what's going on?

It could be some sort of loose connection, or the SSD is going bad. Did you updated with latest firmware ?

either a loose ssd connection or maybe on the other end of the cable in the mobo, either that or firmware or drivers are out of date
