SSD dissapears randomly?

Hello everyone.
I have a Kingston KC300. Since 1 month ago I started having system crashes; more exactly: I may be playing a game or watching youtube or whatever and sometime I would get a bluescreen or even a random screen tearing with that buggy sound in the headphones (which you get when you have some serious hardware issues that literally block the system). I proceed to restart and when It boots up it boots to my old HDD. Even in BIOS the SSD isn't detected.
I tried several things: swapping the power cable, swapping the sata cables between them, connecting only the SSD. It eventually starts working after one of the above.
I also just tried this (but it didn't work):

I have this SSD for around 4 months, this problem started 1-2 months ago. I have no idea what may cause it.

PC SPECS:
2x4gb ddr3, 1600 mhz, CL9
Sapphire Radeon 7970 OC
AMD FX-8350 (with an arctic cooler extreme V2 for lowering the temps)
950W power source
asus sabertooth 990fx rev. 2.0 (with bios updated)
1TB WD caviar blue (my old HDD before getting the SSD)
Windows 7 home premium x64 on both the HDD and the SSD

Any suggestions guys 🙁?

Generally I have no problems with it. Meaning I ran a test with "SSD life" and another soft that I can't remember and i got 100% healthy and a life expectancy of 10 years. It also said that I wrote around 250 gb and read about 900 gb off it. Any other problems/ solutions :S?

thats the main point. you can't see it but probably the pcb board has a defect. that's why i told you to have it replaced. unless you want to gamble your data.

blue screen? what codes are you getting
asus sabertooth 990fx rev. 2.0 (with bios updated) --- AHHH CRAP not you too... lol maybe the board maybe not can you test on another mobo?
i have an asrock 990fx best move i ever made used to buy asus but not anymore. some cheap asrocks at msy if your in australia around the 99-150.00 mark will be a nice change from asus, but if you can test the hdd on another system first. you maybe one of the lucky ones with a good asus board, also what about your power supply is it old or new ?

New power supply (around 6-8 months old). The mobo is the problem? My old HDD is doing just fine; why would it hate my SSD 🙁?

I didn't get a picture of the bluescreen sadly; also, as mentioned above, sometimes I see really bad screen tearing, and when I mean really bad I mean the whole image breaks up and I see only dots of colors and maybe a few lines. Think of the static image you get on your TV when you don't have your antenna/ cable plugged in; something similar to that but instead of grey black and white, I have also colored dots.

Will try to test it on someone else's PC.

Should I understand that this mobo is problematic? Also (a bit off topic): how much would I pay for shipment and are there any fees if I order a mobo from newegg.com? (I live in Romania)

I checked and it seems that there have been 6 BIOS updates released for my motherboard. I patched it up straight to the last revision available. I hope this will help reduce (at least) the amount of disappearances.

did you end up fixing the problem?
from the display problem did you update your drivers? amd drivers arrgghh, you may need to try different ver. but new ones should be ok now.

Hey pharohbender. I switched over to Nvidia graphics (don't throw stones please). Problem persisted.

A few months have passed and I ended up finding out that the problem was the fact that I had a SSD + HDD combo OR that I had a faulty wire. I'm sure of this because I sold both my SSD and my HDD and bought a single SSD with a bit more capacity. I put this new SSD on the wires that were previously used by the HDD (that one never crashed. I also read around and found out that you should connect you SSD to the "native" sata ports on your motherboard (the AMD chipset sata ports) and I also did that.

It's been about 1 month since then and I've had 0 problems 😀!

haha nvidia best move ever!!! still got my 560ti in sli after buying a r9 290 baaahhh remove!!! need to get another 970gtx or 980 that thing was beast on my 6300fx still not worth upgrading untill i get a better cpu.
but then again at 1080p 680gtx was awesomo as well.
ati just dont have the goods atm and the driver support sucks, also good to know the board is still working fine, im coming around slowly to asus as i bought a asus modem scary, but its working fine for now guess its true you get what you pay for.
btw OC success to 6300fx 4.7 @ 1.53v sweet burn baby burn oh no watercooled ahhhh 40c
