Recently bought a laptop knowing it had a problem, so I figured out the problem and fixed it (bad hard drive). So I replaced it and added Windows 7 Ultimate. This computer comes with a 20GB SSD, It doesn't show up in BIOS, My Comp, or Disk Management. Some dude at Acer told me it needs to be loaded up with the original recovery disc which is not what I did. I don't have it.
Is that the only solution to get the SSD to come out of hiding? (i dont think so)
I also don't know where the SSD exactly is in the laptop.
The laptop is an Acer S3-951-6646

I have the same problem with my Acer Aspire M5-581T-6405.
It says that it has 500HDD and 20GB cache SSD, however, I am unable to see (let alone configure) it in the BIOS, my computer, disk management, etc.
It has to show up somewhere doesn't it?
The retailer told me that it was an SSE officially, instead of an SSD. However, I'm not convinced that it's fine.
The specs everywhere online state ''SSD'' not SSE, and I must be able to see it somewhere right?
