Original Dell 2710, 32GB mSATA and 1TB HDD - all in one PC
My SSD drive 32GB has decided not to show on drive folder and is only available to see under ‘computer management’. I am also presuming that the SSD drive is still working and not broken.
I think this all happened with Windows 10 upgrade in February 2019 and everything is running off my HDD (originally had windows 7 running off SSD). I may have hit the wrong button sometime, but doubt it.
When in computer management it shows an unallocated disk but not the size of the SSD.
I am trying to speed up load time and I need to get the SSD working. I appreciate I can not load Windows 10 onto a 32GB SSD but what can I use it for?
I only use the PC for general usage of editing pictures, a few spreadshets, internet etc. and therefore it is perfectly adequate.
I do not want to reinstall windows if possible.
Questions:
1. How to get SSD working? Just use windows to set up? Or separate software requirement?
2. How do I get the computer to read the SSD drive to speed things up? Do I need to play with BIOS setting etc?
Thanks
