SSD error when opening it: "the device is not ready"

my drive says that the "device is not ready"
The Error
and the ssd is in the my pc section...
my PC section
i got this ssd for christmas and i want to use it for a boot drive and my 1tb hdd for storage of games ect.. But i followed linus tech tips tutorial and my drive came up with "device is not ready" when i tried to open it.... it has a designated letter...... im really confused and need some help :/

what is the brand of your SSD? and the motherboard? also make sure your SATA power cable is connected to it properly from the power supply
