Question SSD failure or something else?

I've been using solid state drives since 2013 and can't give up the speed. What I find odd is about every 2 years I get an "attempting repairs" start up screen in windows. This happens to my friends as well. Usually I can get it working again by resetting windows; restore point or repair usually fails. After this it works fine again.

Is this an SSD failure or something else? Reading the article linked below, I've never had any of THOSE symptoms and mines not listed. I've had every major brand, sata 2.5", m.2 sata, m.2 nvme, with fan cooler, with heatsink, no cooling etc. and this problem remains. I typically use a large HDD for games and downloads. I never hibernate, only sleep and shut off. I like to set windows to save documents/downloads/pictures to secondary drive.

Is there something I'm doing wrong or is this just routine windows maintenance?

This is open to discussion for how to prevent this and measures that can be taken to make it easier when something goes wrong.
