Hello,
I have been running two Samsung 860 EVOs in raid 0. This is not my boot drive but contains much of my data.
I have been using Intel Rapid storage technology for the array. On booting my PC, I was notified that IRST was not running and my raid array was not active. I tried to launch it but received an unknown error each time. I reinstalled the program to the most recent version that was compatible with my chipset.
IRST now tells me that my raid array has failed and that one of two volumes is missing. The volume in question is displayed as a standalone drive underneath the raid array. Is there any way that I can manually locate the drive for the array? or is it "missing" because of some other, more serious issue? Fortunately, I had the foresight to back up my photos, but this array still holds important data.
I am on the latest version of windows with an Asus Z170-A motherboard.
It should be noted that issue is following a boot issue I was having and that many of the bios settings were reset. My SATA mode is in RAID, however.
